The barrel, head, and tail cap of the Mag-Lite® are made of precision machined aircraft aluminum, anodized to protect against corrosion. All joints are sealed with O-rings for maximum moisture resistance. The patented cam-action adjustable beam allows the user to focus the light to an intense spot or broad flood with just a twist of the wrist. The camera-quality lens and reflector assemblies are resistant to impact and produce a remarkably strong, clear beam. The thumb-actuated switch is sealed by a rubber button fitted flush to the barrel which will not catch on clothing or objects. Internally, the switch features a patented rotating, self-cleaning design that eliminates the oxidation which is a frequent cause of failure in other flashlights. Barrels have a high-grade flat knurling that provides a sure grip but will not abrade clothing when the light is carried in a belt holster. A spare bulb is housed in the tail cap. Mag-Lite®s are explosion-proof, individually serial numbered, and carry a manufacturer's limited lifetime warranty. Bezel width: 2.25".
